Originally called Round Valley, Wallsburg was settled by William Madison Wall in 1858, as a place where dreams could come true. Even before the Mormon pioneers arrived, Native Americans, Spanish explorers and fur traders had appreciated this beautiful, hidden hollow in the mountains.
Using personal vignettes set in the context of local, national and world events, this history covers 150 years, and includes unique stories of artists, midwives, soldiers and others who helped develop a community.
